About Harmony Hope Stables

Our Story

Harmony Hope Stables sits on 5 beautiful acres in Palm City, FL, and represents the realization of founder Kristi Huddleston’s vision to serve children and youth facing significant challenges. Originally founded in 2009 as Music 4 Miracles, the nonprofit has a long history of supporting children in need, including those in foster care, with disabilities, and facing serious illnesses.

In 2019, Kristi and her family purchased the farm and established the first PATH® (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) Center in Martin County, creating a safe and therapeutic environment for youth to heal, grow, and thrive. Through her work, Kristi combines her experience in program development, project management, and nonprofit leadership to ensure the organization delivers impactful, life-changing services to the community.

With the support of her husband, Bill, a retired firefighter, and their twin teenagers, the Huddleston family continues to lead and sustain Harmony Hope Stables, ensuring that its mission of empowering and supporting children in need remains at the heart of every program.

Learn About Our Programs

At Harmony Hope Stables, we provide equine-assisted programs in a peaceful ranch environment where children, teens, and adults can build confidence, develop emotional regulation skills, improve communication, and experience personal growth and healing.

We serve children with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and developmental or emotional challenges, as well as at-risk youth through our Crescendo of Hope program. We also serve adults in addiction recovery and individuals seeking healing, personal growth, and wellness through our equine-assisted and holistic programs.

Our programs incorporate horses, animal interactions, music activities, and hands-on experiential learning to help participants develop trust, confidence, coping skills, emotional regulation, and healthy relationships. We incorporate music into our equine sessions whenever possible, as the combination of rhythm, sound, and horses creates a calming, engaging, and therapeutic environment for many participants.

Harmony Hope Stables offers Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL), where participants work with horses to build confidence, communication skills, emotional regulation, and life skills through hands-on experiences. When appropriate, we can also collaborate with licensed therapists to provide Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), combining mental health therapy with the powerful experiential learning that happens with horses.

In addition to equine-assisted learning, Harmony Hope Stables also offers holistic equine therapy experiences, sound healing sessions, and retreats focused on mindfulness, stress reduction, emotional wellness, and personal growth.

We are proud to be the only PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) certified equine-assisted services center serving Martin and St. Lucie Counties. Our programs provide a unique and effective approach to building social skills, emotional regulation, confidence, leadership, and life skills through meaningful interactions with horses and other ranch animals.

Through our programs, participants learn trust, communication, responsibility, confidence, and resilience — all while experiencing the healing power of horses in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.

Vision Statement

We envision a world where no child or adult feels unseen, unsupported, or alone.
